The Supreme Court is not up for election, but ethics reforms are.
If we retake the majority, we should pass Senator Warren and I’s Judicial Ethics and Anti-Corruption Act to stop the Supreme Court’s corruption. bit.ly/4iblb0s

If only blatantly racist shit like this got even 1% of the media coverage and bipartisan political outrage that random ads criticizing Israel do.

🚨 WOW: Rep. Jim Himes reveals to Ben Meiselas that lawmakers have WAR-GAMED potential Election Day chaos involving Elon Musk.
Himes warns Musk has the power to manipulate social media algorithms and spread false voting claims that could provoke armed groups to show up at polling places.

You can tell the hecklers are legit in his head. This has been the most consistently outstanding stream of daily heckling over the course of several weeks in American political history. Quality work from all involved.

Trump screamed at a reporter, called him a “sick guy” and said he looks “like hell” after he asked an innocuous question about the President's travel.
This is not normal behavior.
The American people are FED UP with Trump‘s narcissism, incompetence and greed. ENOUGH.

TWO straight years of decline in unsheltered homelessness across California.
Preliminary data shows a 7.3% drop across the 37 reporting regions this year — nearly 13% statewide since 2024!
California's estimated unsheltered homeless population is now BELOW 2019 levels.
More work to do, but California is bucking the national trend of double digital increases!

NEW: Pope Leo XIV is set to become the first sitting pontiff in the Catholic Church’s two-thousand-year history to vote in a secular election.
Leo requested an Illinois mail ballot on Oct. 3, and it was sent to his brother John’s home in New Lenox, Ill.
John Prevost visited the pope at the Vatican on Wednesday and may now be carrying the ballot back to the Will County clerk by hand. thelettersfromleo.com/p/pope…

There is no such thing as a short, 3-4 day military operation—if we strike Iran, they will respond. We have consistently underestimated the most basic reality: the enemy gets a vote.
There is no military option that will persuade Iran to accept the U.S.’s terms for a deal—after 8 months of failing to restore order to the chaos it caused, the administration knows this— so what is the purpose of more strikes?
If we strike Iran by targeting more of their leaders and/or energy infrastructure, Iran will retaliate by striking Gulf energy infrastructure & U.S. forces in the region. More American troops will needlessly die, & our energy prices will continue to skyrocket.
Iran’s allies & proxies—like the Houthis, Iraqi militias, & possibly Bahraini groups—will attack Saudi energy infrastructure, the BAM/Suez, & will potentially attack the governments of Kuwait & Bahrain. We’re already unable to help the Saudis deter the Houthis—if we engage in kinetic combat against Iran, we’ll be even more incapable of assisting our already-weakened allies.
More strikes won’t change the game. Walking away & declaring victory before Tuesday sets a positive tone for the elections & resets the parameters for negotiations with Iran.
President Trump can avoid the escalation trap by walking away now, before the fog of war envelops the rest of his presidency.
