Branding is not about the creation of a great logo: people remember how a brand makes them feel and then attach that feeling to the brand's logo, not the other way around. Don't focus on your logo as a representation of your brand, but do focus on the unique experience you bring.
Don't confuse advertising and marketing, they are NOT synonyms. Especially in today's world.
