I ended up going with a Dalish Rogue Lord of Fortune. She prefers to talk things out, if only to buy enough time to enact a plan. She's always been one to ferret out secrets and get into places she shouldn't, so her marks are Dirthamen's.
Back to my actual job and all I can think about is going home and jumping right back into Thedas. It's gonna be a loooooong day lol
Taash reminds me too much of my little brother 🫠 I was planning a romance in my next couple playthroughs, but now...
I'm reminded of Origin's writing

I need to gush about my husband a little bit: I told him about the shaders so he launched the game while I'm at work to make sure it's ready to play as soon as I get home 🥰
Poking my head back in because it's still about 5 hours until I can play and it is the longest 5 hours of my life
I'm going to post my Rook later, but I'm going to go dark until I finish The Veilguard. See you on the other side, lovely people 💜

So I think I’ve worked out why Dragon Age the Veilguard has a wide range of conflicting opinions (besides the obvious anger). I’ve noticed that if you don’t take your time to really explore and take in the game, you’ll feel very differently.
If you’ve had to lower the difficulty at any point, you’re rushing through content you're underleveled & geared for. You’re not upgrading, build crafting, exploring, and finding better gear like uniques.
If you are powering through to simply finish, you’ll miss out on some pretty amazing moments in the game and frankly, the end few missions will be different (those are my favorite moments).
Also for some reason at the start of the game - the mage really isn’t as fun as the Rogue and to a lesser extent, the warrior (they get broken late game with gear and levels). This is especially true if the Mage and the Warrior are under levelled. The rogue can get away with powering through content.
This is from someone who has taken his time and now speed run to the end game on all three classes. For those who feel the need to 'just finish', maybe the game isn't for you and that's completely okay. It won't be enjoyable for everyone.
We're down to where it's the day after tomorrow.
I'm fine, I promise, I'm totally not rattling the bars
