Our inquiry has uncovered a range of cultural & systemic issues, including within DVA when veterans are trying to access the support and services they desperately need. Our Final Report will provide a comprehensive blueprint for the long-overdue reforms needed to see change

Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders have been part of Australia's armed forces since the Boer War.
We were honoured to lay a wreath today at a national service commemorating the contribution of First Nations Defence Force members.
This week we thank and honour those thousands of Aussies who have served as UN peacekeepers.
It is vital work that makes the world a safer place.
Today is International Day of UN Peacekeepers. United Nations peacekeepers work to bring stability to countries ravaged by war. Since 1947, more than 80,000 Australians have served as United Nations peacekeepers in some of the most dangerous conflict zones around the world. Seventeen Australians have lost their lives on peacekeeping operations.
Earlier this year, Meritorious Unit Citations were awarded to Australian Defence Force units that served in Somalia on peacekeeping operations between 1992 and 1995. About 1,500 ADF personnel were deployed to support the UN's mission in Somalia, where famine and civil war had created a terrible humanitarian crisis. The MUC recognises the tireless efforts of these ADF units to contribute to the UN’s mission.
