Data centres took 29 per cent of private equity inflows into Indian real estate in April to September 2026 (H1 FY27), up sharply from just 4 per cent in FY26.

A 1 per cent shortfall in monsoon rain cuts India's farm growth by about 0.40 per cent on average, according to an RBI study. The study uses data from 1994-95 to 2025-26.
The EU will bar textile goods without verified farm-to-spinning traceability from 2027. From 2028, every garment sold there needs a QR-linked passport with fibre and recycled-content data. For India, traceability now starts at the farm.

India makes about 85 per cent of its urea at home. But natural gas is up to 70 per cent of urea's cost, and 85 per cent of that gas is imported. Our urea self-sufficiency is mostly imported gas in a bag.

The Government should place in Parliament the average maize procurement price paid by ethanol companies and the average ethanol realization for the first half of the current ESY. This will give the market a clearer picture of ethanol.
