Heading into the Cape Cod vs. MLB Draft League game, I wrote that Douglas Bauer had some ground to make up draft stock wise.
With a 1.50 ERA on the Cape and standout showings in front of scouts at MLB ballparks, the @OhioStateBASE right-hander is quickly closing that gap.
Big-time stage, big-time performance from @DBauer2022!
He lights up the radar with high heat and punches out two in a scoreless frame at Citi Field. (@OhioStateBASE)

Another great inning for @OfficialCCBL pitching as @DBauer2022 of @OhioStateBASE & the @BrewsterCaps picks up 2 strikeouts in the 3rd. Still no score on a hot evening here in Queens!

Douglas Bauer RHP for Tyler throws a sharp late slider to get a strikeout. Bauer will also touch 95 with his FB. He is a part of a Tyler Trio of prospects that include OF Ryan Brown and RHP Danny Valadez. The three have led the Apaches to an 11-2 start. @TJCBaseball
