It has Halloween week coming up and a A cinema score barring a crazy collapse it’s going to finish at least around 120-150 million but it’s got a shot if this WOM Carry’s on to get to 200

‘CLAYFACE’ director James Watkins on the possibility of a sequel: “I liked the standalone nature of it. I liked how it felt like it introduced a character. But I wasn’t trying to introduce the character to go, ‘OK, what next?’ I was trying to introduce the character as a full meal in itself.” (Via: variety.com/2026/film/news/c…)

THANK YOU! People forget that it can just be a collection of individual stories within the same universe. We dont need a build up to an overarching threat, look how awful thats been for Marvel after Endgame
The Hollywood Handle
@HollywoodHandle16h
James Gunn says the DCU is an “alternate universe” where individual stories don’t need to set up future projects, comparing the franchise to ‘STAR WARS.’ “I dislike the idea that individual stories aren’t meaningful unless they lead to something else.”

Idc if they were meh on the movie but saying the movie felt unnecessary & doubling down on Clayface being an anti hero felt weird. They clearly recorded this early Friday as they constantly act like the movie would bomb & that Ellison is gonna pressure Gunn for Batman

Yup. They automatically assumed Clayface would underperform.

They literally say it half way through the video like "Clayface didn't do well", the video came out Sunday, it's done very well in the weekend, and did well the week leading up with rave reviews definitely from us British who saw it early last Monday, reconsidering watching them
