What a lot of us have suspected for a long time.
Huge thank you to the authors for quantifying this!
Did you know that only approximately 3% of physics papers are led by women teams? Gender disparities like this are pervasive. In our preprint, we excavate gender disparities in the reference lists of 1.07 million papers in contemporary physics.

Something all students should know if they pick programs going by US News rankings.
US News and World Report's ranking of graduate programs in engineering is based only on scoring by department Chairs. No data used, just our opinions. Just got my email today to do it. Wild. Thinking of @Gladwell's Revisionist History
