I have no idea how DH is defined.

DH engages with the humanities through critical, reflexive, collaborative development of digital technologies.

I try not to define it -- I perform it!

DH is the attempt to create smarter machines and to teach people how to be smarter than the intelligent machines we create.

The phrase seems to say it for itself, 'something related to the humanities going digital.'

DH is an umbrella term for something like the use of technology to study human cultures.

DH involves the creation and application of new tools, technologies, and methodologies within the humanities.

DH is a developing subdiscipline within the traditional humanities disciplines.

DH is the ineffably sublime.

DH is part humanities computing which designs, develops, and/or utilizes computing technologies for research and analysis.

DH is part humanities computing which designs, develops, and/or utilizes computing technologies for research and analysis.

DH is the incorporation of new tools and technologies that allow us to ask various kinds of humanities questions.

DH is about bringing central questions about the nature of the humanities to light.

DHers are creating excellent innovative outcomes.

DH is using new methods and perhaps aks new questions in a new way but at least we are Humanists.

DH engages questions of how reliance on computational tools shapes the questions asked in the humanities.

DH is that which makes us conscious of our methodology of inquiry. Since digital things are not necessarily electric, maybe we can do DH without computers?

Most of all, DH is fun.

The study of the Humanities through methods and with perspectives arising from the application of digital procedures.

DH is a pedagogical and scholarly approach.

i can do better despite @melissaterras' plea in her keynote for #DH2010 to move away from 'the intersection of.'
