Brandon Woodruff was originally drafted by Milwaukee in 2014 and is the longest tenured Brewer.
He owns the franchise career ERA and WHIP marks, and has been a staple in their rotation since 2017.
Injuries shoulder issues have plagued him since 2023, only pitching in 32 games, and in July of this year was supposed to undergo season ending shoulder surgery.
He opted against, aiming to rehab in hopes of returning for the postseason, eventually closing out Game 3.
Now, after 12 years with the organization, Woodruff helped deliver Milwaukee their first World Series Championship
