2nd graders playing one of my fav playground games to teach at the beginning of the year SCRAMBLE! I love it because it requires zero equipment & once Ss get it, they like to play at recess and it’s pretty simple (not a lot of rules). #PacSkyPE #PacSkySTEAM #FindingJOYfulmovement

Happy FriYAY! #PacSkyPE upper grades learning the game- Strikerball. #FindingJOYfulmovement #maxingourdays #PacSkySTEAM #Physed #SDPhysed

4th gr warmup- RPS around the court. We discussed prior to this activity about respect ✊🏾 + sportsmanship in PE making sure we give high 5s, say good game to one another. ❤️ at end of vid student forgot and went back to give high 5 🥹🙌🏾. #sportsmanshipinPE #PacSkyPE

5th graders brainstorming + testing their own games. One of my fav units of the year- create a game. Ss work in small groups 3-4, create a new game or modify one that already exists. @CDM_Dragons #CDMSTEAM #Physed #creativityinPE #FindingJOYfulmovement

More 5th graders in action. Testing their games. Ss can choose from a variety of equipment and playing areas for their game. @CDM_Dragons #CDMSTEAM #createagameinPE #maxingourdays

Little warm today- no problem!! We found shade. And the parachute 🪂 was the perfect activity keeping Ss engaged & working together as a class. @CDM_Dragons #FindingJOYfulmovement #maxingourdays #parachuteinPE

Monday #Physed w kinder enjoying an 🌍 day themed activity this week. Using milk jug scoops to toss, catch & more! Ss were asked- what can you do with this milk jug scoop? How could we re-use or re-purpose an everyday item? @CDM_Dragons #earthdayPEactivityidea #maxingourdays
