Introducing Caravel Trade ⛵
We built a peer to peer OTC platform on the @tari Ootle, letting you trade TARI using the Ootle's privacy features.

The equivalent of 890 RTX 5090s, 3,200 Ryzen CPUs and 1,000+ ASICs is securing the @tari network. The $XTM market cap? ~$9M 🐢
DNC took a snapshot of today's hashrate across Tari's mining lanes and priced up the hardware behind it:
· GPU lane: ~890 RTX 5090s, ~$3.4M
· CPU lane: ~3,200 Ryzen 9 CPUs, ~$1.6M
· ASIC lane: ~1,060 dedicated miners, ~$1.1M
That's ~$6M of dedicated hardware... and that's before $XMR miners, who also secure Tari through merge mining. To attack the chain, you'd need to overpower several lanes at once, @monero's included.
The Ootle launches 11.11 on a network that's already battle-ready. The market just hasn't priced it in yet.

According to DNC sources, before the community takeover, Tari Labs ran a dedicated KOL round, with key opinion leaders entering alongside other participants at $0.005 per XTM.
360,000 blocks later, the heaviest emissions are behind us and the Ootle comes online 11.11. These KOLs share the same goal as every holder, and their interests are aligned with ours.
The Council's approach has been organic so far, but in a market with short attention spans, this is a quick win we can't ignore: reach out, understand their outlook, and build win-win formats like content, AMAs and a coordinated Ootle launch push.

The existing Council has reaffirmed its full focus on shipping the Ootle on time. Under Article II of the charter, the Council can run with five to seven members, so any discussion of a new member, should the Council deem it necessary, can pick up after launch.
