What an epic battle #DiscoveryRocks2021 Our pupils have been amazing. As a school we were 3rd overall; 6AV 1st; 2 Yr 6 pupils 2nd & 3rd; we scored 1,559,508 points in total; 359 pupils took part; 6 classes in the top 50; 14 pupils in the top 50 & the best performing Yr 4 class!👏

NQTs will be no more from Sept 2021. It’s now a 2 year ECT status (Early Career Teacher). Induction must be underpinned by the Early Career Framework. 2 formal assessment points (end of each year in induction). This delays fully qualified teacher status. gov.uk/government/publicatio…

Teachers teach because they care. That is all. Why would they bother to get a degree and choose teaching for any other reason? It’s not the whiteboard pens or the photocopiers or the laminator machines. It’s because they care. That’s it.
