Kindergarten and 6th grade graduations were such a special opportunity to celebrate our students and remind them to go forth and make their mark in the next chapter of their journeys.

Today is School Lunch Hero Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize our very own Lunch SUPERHEROES, Mr. Chaney and Ms. Spivey. We are so grateful for all they do to serve our students and for the effort they put into building relationships with them!

Congratulations to our 6th graders, who took 2nd place overall at the MTSU Middle School Math Competition today! Out of nearly 30 teams of 4-6 students each, this is a tremendous accomplishment. We are so proud of the work they and their teacher have put in!

Welcome, New Explorers! Members of the DS staff had the opportunity to visit the homes of all of our incoming Explorer families who will be joining us for the 2024-2025 school year. It was such a joy to connect and deliver a small surprise to each student.
Our Explorers represented us so well at STEAM in the City! We are so proud of all of the students who served as ambassadors and spoke about their learning, as well as our Robotics and Engineering competition participants. Thank you to everyone who came out to support!
