Independent Review of @syntholene Facility Confirms World Class Proof-of-Performance, Supports Potential for Cost-Competitive Synthetic Aviation Fuel.
What our production data has demonstrated:
World class efficiency demonstrating the structural cost advantage of our thermally-integrated process.
Continuous, baseload operations, mitigating the need for battery and hydrogen storage.
Capability to scale into a low cost producer across the low-carbon fuels market, and a credible potential to compete with fossil fuels, completely decoupled from crude oil.
You can't make cheap hydrocarbon fuels without cheap hydrogen.
Syntholene has now demonstrated a structural hydrogen production cost advantage. This advantage is unique to the company's thermal hybrid production architecture, and can widen as we scale commercially.
What happens when you bring a demonstrated structural cost advantage into a mandated synthetic jet fuel market that is chronically and structurally undersupplied?
@syntholene Is unleashing its ambition to pursue the lowest production costs across the eFuel market and leverage its now-proven performance into preferential pricing for its first offtake partners.

Chemicals are the most overlooked space by venture capital right now
All the action happening in industrialization: more factories, more output, more products.
This requires a chemical manufacturing layer that currently has multiple gaps
Chemicals are a $6 trillion industry globally
There are easily a 100+ unicorn companies that could be built off of chemicals that no one has ever thought about.
Request for Reindustrialization Startup!!!
Metal processing (e.g. anodizing, passivation, etc.) is a slept on reindustrialization problem.
Going from a raw finish to a hardened, resistant finish is a simple process that can take weeks if you rely on outside vendors.
The problem is particularly difficult for ‘rare’ finishes found in complex builds like satellite components.
Syntholene has now established proven performance at its Iceland demonstration facility, and is ready to scale its commercial infrastructure on the back of a demonstrated structural cost advantage.
Hydrocarbon fuels have underpinned every technology, luxury, and amenity that we've enjoyed as a civilization for the last 150 years. Today, they're produced by refining petroleum. In the future Syntholene is building, they will be produced by synthesizing designer molecules.
Thanks to the Korelin Economics Report for the coverage on Syntholene's proof of performance milestone.
Low cost synthetic fuel is on the way.

Modularity wins. Low cost wins.
Synthetic fuel at aviation scale will take a different kind of plant. @BillGates and Lydian CEO Joe Rodden explain how smaller facilities designed for replication and mass production could help get there.
Our HQ is Chicago, our Operations are in Iceland, but the #Gundo energy courses through our veins.
Thanks to @RobertJohns for the brand.

By using colocated heat and electricity from geothermal and eventually nuclear power, Syntholene is delivering novel efficiencies in the production of hydrogen and synthetic fuel. Higher efficiencies mean lower costs, and lower costs are what the sector has been waiting for.
A new era of modularity in engineering and construction allows infrastructure, from power plants to fuel synthesis reactors, to scale incrementally to meet demand. This reduces the risk of first-of-a-kind projects and lets Syntholene hone in on repeatability and scalability.
Synthetic fuel offers more than a cleaner path for transport. Unlike fossil fuels, efuels from gasoline to diesel boast superior quality, free from contaminants inherent in the petroleum refinement process.
At the dawn of a new nuclear renaissance in the US and worldwide, there may be no better co-located heat and electricity use than the production of synthetic fuels. Syntholene's thermal integration IP functions with nuclear power, and this is how we unlock unlimited fuel forever.
