With CGY & SSK winning today the Bombers must win to make the playoffs.
With a win and SSK loss the Bombers finish 3rd. With a win and SSK win the Bombers will finish 4th and cross over again.

It won’t just be Viggo Björck’s parents in the building for his NHL debut in Winnipeg.
Even his grandma’s sister’s ex-husband will be there when the Jets take on the Bruins this evening.

Speaking to reporters at his locker before the final game of his 6-year contract, a tearful George Springer says he anticipates feeling “happysad” when he leaves the field later today.
He’s grateful for the support of Jays fans but says “I should be saying thank you to them”

Danny Zhilkin and Henry Thrun are on waivers today for the #NHLJets.
They are now at 24 skaters (14F, 8D, 2G). One more move to come.
They will (likely) either:
A) Assign Yager to MB Moose
B) Waive one of Bauer or St. Ivany
Rosters need to be finalized tomorrow.

At the end of the day Scott Arniel is going to Scott Arniel... No reason for Bauer making this team and Yager to not make it.
#NHLJets pre-game line rushes:
Connor-Scheifele-Perfetti
Rosén-Björck-Vilardi
Barron-Lowry-Lambert
Niederreiter-Namestnikov-Iafallo
Extra: Zhilkin, Yager, Koepke
Morrissey-DeMelo
Samberg-Pionk
Ferraro-Bauer
Fleury-St. Ivany/Thrun
Skinner
DiVincentiis

Fantastic news.
#NHLJets forward Mark Scheifele’s chase for the franchise records (by my math):
Needs eight goals to pass Dale Hawerchuk’s 379.
Needs 19 assists to pass Thomas Steen’s 553.
Needs 23 points to pass Hawerchuk’s 929.

i have qualms with certain placings but i also kind of think fanbases don't like to face the idea that their team's trajectory might be a dead end

Thanks all the nice comments on this. À borrowed booth guitar (like putting on a strange pair of shoes, but just rolled with it). What I’m mouthing at the end is about the open string lick being one I stole from @SRVOfficial (“Scuttlebuttin’”)
