The only positive I see from last night is that Americans will now get a two year showcase on what socialism really looks like, and feels like. It will be ugly, and leave a lasting impression. 2028 will be Socialism vs Capitalism. I'm at peace, because The Lord is in control.

Resign.
Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment that’s created safer streets, more money in Americans’ pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. After fighting Democrat obstruction at every turn, we prevented the largest tax hike in American history, secured our border in an unprecedented way, confirmed the president’s Cabinet at the fastest pace in two decades, and put strong conservative judges on benches across the country faster than we have since the Reagan administration. I’m proud of our team and everything we’ve done for the American people, and I’m looking forward to the important work we have in front of us over the next few months. As we head into 2027, Senate Republicans will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything we’ve done. Thankfully, we still have President Trump in the White House, and we’ll work with him to stop the worst impulses of Democrat extremism. We cannot let their fringe positions become the mainstream.

As an alum with 2 @UofMaryland degrees on my wall, I would appreciate a public statement as to why student reporters @testudotimes were directed by campus police to leave the area when trying to cover the firing of the highest paid employee of the state. @umterps @president_pines

University debate, "Were humans built to eat meat?", same two chairs, same clock. Vegan: "Anatomically we're closer to the gorilla than the lion. Flat molars, long gut. A gentle plant-eater with delusions." Paleoanthropologist: "Then explain the acid." Vegan: "Which acid?" Paleoanthropologist: "Your stomach runs at a pH of about 1.5. A lion's sits nearer 3.6. Yours is stronger than the animal you've just been contrasted with, by a factor of about a hundred." Vegan: "Stomach acid digests food." Paleoanthropologist: "A cow's rumen sits at about 6.5. That's a compost heap with a pulse. Yours strips the zinc off a coin. Why would a gentle plant-eater carry that?" Vegan: "Protection." Paleoanthropologist: "From what? Lettuce doesn't fight back." Vegan: "Bacteria." Paleoanthropologist: "Which bacteria live in a leaf at a level that needs a pH of 1.5? Name the salad." Vegan: "..." Paleoanthropologist: "The animals that run acid as low as ours are the scavengers. Vultures. Things that arrive at a carcass on the second day and need to kill what's already living in it. We're not built like the lion. We're built like the bird that waits for the lion to finish." Vegan: "Flattering." Paleoanthropologist: "It's a picture of a species with a rock, a sharp flake and no claws. You don't get the fresh kill. You get the femur nobody could open, forty hours late, and you'd better have the acid for it." Vegan: "Acid that strong is dangerous. Look how many people are on tablets for it." Paleoanthropologist: "The only animal on earth that pays to switch its stomach off. You've spent sixty years pouring cereal onto a carcass digester and now you're medicating the digester for doing its job." Vegan: "So your argument is that we're vultures." Paleoanthropologist: "My argument is a number. Yours is a feeling about gorillas. The gorilla eats for most of the day and its gut is a fermentation tank. Yours is done in a few hours and runs on acid. One of you is designed for leaves." Moderator: "Thirty seconds." Paleoanthropologist: "She can keep them. I'm still waiting on the salad."

The Pleiades are an open star cluster located in the constellation Taurus. They are VERY young. When dinosaurs first walked the Earth, the Pleiades did not exist. Also, sharks are older.

If 9/11 happened again tomorrow, 50% of Gen Z, at least, would support the terrorists. Sorry, but it’s true.

WOW. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, a public broadcaster, reportedly sent an internal memo to staff that read: "Do not refer to the Sept. 11 attacks as terrorist attacks." Instead, they are to refer to 9/11 as just "hijackings" that caused "jet crashes in Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania and Manhattan."

It was revealed that Dolly Parton was secretly battling cancer but she didn't say anything and instead released this song as one of her last to raise funds for children with cancer. Even while she was sick she was still thinking about others. I’m absolutely devastated.

Just closed a @Verizon @Synchrony credit card account. I inadvertently underpaid my credit card balance by $.02. Zero late payments ever, but now #Synchrony refuses to waive a $2 minimum interest fee. The $2 is not the point. Courtesy is the point.

Requiring an ID and proof of citizenship to vote is common sense. It’s time to pass the SAVE America Act. RT if you agree.
