If im not mistaken the red lotus wanted a baby avatar that they can brainwash into their ideologies and beliefs....tf were they gonna do with a 160 something year old monk with 3 kids???
Just Me Ash@DeeDivayn2DsOct 25
There’s a reason Zaheer and his red Lotus members didn’t attack Aang when he was alive. Son.

That doesn't really prove anything other than the past lives up to that point did some heavy lifting in the overall output of power. Raava said herself that as Vaatu grows stronger she becomes weaker, not in the sense of being powerless but she cant reach her potential....
Luminous_XII@LuminousXiiOct 25
I like how the movie debunked the "prime raava" nonsense. Before she even got the staff, sonam with past lives and a small raava conjured a mountain that dwarfed an entire mountain range. Kuvira's mech couldn't even finish off a small mountain in comparison.

So the avatar state was lacking heavy in some aspects. Korra having a fully grown Raava expanded that potential and power which is why she was able to bend raw spiritual energy, something unheard of to the past avatars. Conjuring a mountain is impressive for her but that would...

be nothing to current Korra. And Kuvira's mech is something man made so idk how you're comparing that to someone charged by the spirit world itself lol

One Daughter Theory: Pavi and Nisha's parents only had one daughter- Pavi. We've seen some key evidence- 1) Their jewelry is really a mother/daughter set (not daughter/daughter) 2) The letter Karthik received only mentions one Avatar

The fact that this "Legend of Genji" is a fanfiction and not actual canon really shows how delusional most ATLA fans are in wanting to claim the Avatar franchise as their own and take it away from the very creators who brought it to life in the first place.
