NEWS:
Pac-Man is available now on the Nex Playground console via Playpass. As such, this take on the arcade game is played entirely with motion controls.
Along with the classic mode emulating the game's fundamentals, there are other modes featuring new mazes and power-ups.
ALT Pac-Man on Nex Available only on Playpass for Nex Playground
ALT Chomp Your Friends Share the Maze with up to four players and fight to be the last one standing in Showdown Mode. Jump to make PAC-MAN leap over Ghosts and other players. If you get Chomped, come back as a Ghost and continue the chase.
ALT Feast Together Team up and eat all the Pac-Dots in Team Chomp Mode. Rescue chomped allies from Ghosts by reaching their cages or finding keys scattered throughout the Maze.

During Pac-Man Championship Edition's development, the team opted to make the game with 3D graphics and have it take place in the city of Manhattan, New York
While the game's concept was reworked since, Manhattan's stage is still present in the final game, as well as the sequels

Street Fighter x Tekken was once meant to be released in tandem with a companion game known as Tekken x Street Fighter.
The game would have utilized Tekken's 3D playstyle like how the former game uses Street Fighter's. However, development on the game has long been halted.

The opening cinematic for Pac-Man World originally intended to include characters from other Namco games like Mappy, Dig Dug, and The Legend of Valkyrie.
It was later decided it would be more appropriate to focus on Pac-Man's family. Pooka stayed on account of their ball shape.

Previously we discussed how Jr. Pac-Man was going to be ported to Jakks Pacific's Super Pac-Man plug 'n play, and remnants of its data were found in the Retro Arcade Featuring Pac-Man unit
However, it just got discovered there's more than just remnants; the entire game is intact
