Whenever I see complaints about artist rates I think well about how these exact people have likely participated in making companies like DoorDash into multi-billion dollar enterprises, paying a huge markup to have some guy pick up food for them from five minutes away. If they're willing to spend this kind of money to pay someone to do something almost anyone on earth can do, they can pay a fair rate for someone to do something comparatively very few people can do-and so few artists have the temerity to ask for even that much. These complaints stem from ignorance and entitlement and ought to be ignored; I applaud any artist that knows their worth and has the courage to demand it, realizing they risk the provocations of dullard hypocrites in the process.
