Creative director William Domingue, who also goes by Will The Creative on social media, is raising questions about the similarities between his previous creative concept and Jay-Z’s recent Apple Music Super Bowl halftime announcement.
Back in July, Will went viral after sharing a concept for a Nike campaign announcing LeBron James as a Philadelphia 76er.
➡️ The concept featured LeBron sitting inside an empty arena, surrounded by goats in the seats.
➡️ The visual was presented in black and white, with a similar overall aesthetic to Jay-Z’s recent Super Bowl halftime announcement video.
Now, Will appears to be suggesting that Jay-Z and his creative team may have borrowed elements from his original concept.
And I can’t lie, there are definitely some similarities worth discussing.
