Unai Emery's Aston Villa 2.0 is here.

GW9 so far… 👀 59 points with 2 still to play. Van Hecke the hero with 15, while Silva, Rogers, Rudoni and Jackson have all chipped in nicely too. Haaalnd blank - it does happen. Cherki is a big concern now. Hoping for Calafiori CS and a Barry goal. #FPL #FPLCommunity

Strange game that. First half was okay, good enough, felt normal. 2nd half - not sure what to say. Nothing like watching Villa normally. An eye on Tuesday? Fulham just better? Tactically outdone? Tired legs? Didn't deserve the draw - but take it. Onto Barcelona!

Weird first half. Probably should be more ahead with the McGinn penalty, but haven't created a lot and look susceptible on the break. Fulham probably should have 1. Atmosphere feels like a flat FA cup tie. Strange game. #avfc

The absolute fucking irony of that from Carra 😂

FPL GW9 coming soon... Unsure of any extra transfers worth taking a -4 for this week, already moved from Gonzalo 👉 Jackson last weekend. Anything here worth a -4 for at all? #FPL #FPLCommunity

Yes I'd love a cup run - but right now it just isn't a priority. The performance - from what I've read was poor, particularly at the back. Bizot levels dropped? A lot of these haven't played together either. We move on, looking forward to Saturday. UTV! #AVFC

Bouba's back to his best ⭐

Solid first half, very even contest. Jackson having the better of Guehi, Alysson worrying Gvardiol and McGinn finding pockets in midfield. Ndiaye worries me against Maatsen, imagine Foden on at HT. #avfc

McGinn left, Manzambi central and Alysson right? UTV!

Locked in for GW8 ✅ 🌍 OR 340k Transfers: Saka ➡️ Rudoni Tough choice this week but going with the 3-5-2 and backing the midfield. A lot of the upside this week feels tied to Coventry v Fulham, so I’m hoping for goals there and that the slightly more aggressive setup pays off. Captaincy still feels awkward too, but Haaland gets it again. #FPL #FPLCommunity

It'll be an own goal but his performance has deserved that on his first home start for us. Alysson 🇧🇷

Alysson really kicking on isn't he? That would have been a superb team goal.

HOW'S HE MISSED THAT?!

BOSS BARKLEY!

What's the attendance like for anyone that's there tonight? #AVFC

Better late than never, I guess. Hopefully we start to see that trickle down into energy prices over the winter months. Over to you, @OctopusEnergy...
