To my pastor/church leader friends, new and old - long post alert. But please read: God has placed a burden on my heart to, as part of Grand Slam Ministries, expand my speaking ministry. Jesus has done a miracle in my life, and the world needs to hear He is still in the saving/redemption business. So there's a lot of info below. Please take some time to check it out. I'm wary of "marketing myself," but I'm hoping that by doing this you will remember me if an opening ever comes up. Or a weekend event can be arranged. Some important notes: - I take the privilege of standing behind a pastor's pulpit seriously. It's a sacred place. My dad did it for 54 years. I won't embarrass you. - I don't have a speaking fee. I never charge. I leave that to the Holy Spirit and the people who invite me. Regardless, if God says go, I'm going. - I will travel if the schedule allows. I just ask that, if possible, travel expenses are helped with. Regardless, if God says go, I'm going. - Most importantly, my aim is to glorify God and share Jesus. Not doing it for any personal accolades. So, having said all that, here's some info for you to peruse. Feel free to message me here with questions, or you can call/text my ministry line at 864-788-9596. Finally, my email address is [email protected]. I can provide you with several references, all pastors who have blessed me with the opportunity to speak in their churches ------ In His Testimony, Dan Shares: - About growing up in a Christian home. Miss this week's #DanScottShow? @RebeccaACarrell was a major-market radio talent in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She also had a problem with alcohol. But one night when she hit bottom, #Jesus was there to pick her up. Podcast archive👇 thedanscottshow.podbean.com #radio #alcohol #grace

This is an important morning, and an important day. I'd like to take a moment to thank Pat Murphy and the Milwaukee Brewers for SAVING Major League Baseball. Since Billy Beane and Moneyball, Analytics Nerds have tried to aggressively take over our game. They never played baseball, and they told us it's okay to strike out, just walk and hit home runs. "We don't care about base hits," they say. Well... the Brewers just SWEPT the Los Angeles Dodgers, who have a trillion dollar payroll if they didn't do all this Ohtani referral nonsense. And what do we need to know about these Brewers? - They were FIRST in MLB in batting average - you need hits to win!!! - They were 28th in Home Runs!!! One of the worst Home Run hitting teams in all of baseball I'd also like to thank the Tampa Bay Rays, who are currently battling in the ALCS. - Rays batters struck out the LEAST of any team this season. Baseball hasn't changed. If you want to play the right way, you need to have scrappy at bats, you need to have heart and grit, you need to PUT THE BALL IN PLAY (no strikeouts!) and get base hits. Now watch how the Analytics Nerds will change course. Last year, nobody was too interested in Luis Arraez (who gets hits). Watch him get more money this offseason. All of the trends will change. The Nerds are just learning about baseball, today.
“They may have a bunch of Hall of Famers, but we have a bunch of gamers. And the gamers won this week.” @Brewers manager Pat Murphy after his team swept the Dodgers
