Tesla's self-driving taxis are gaining momentum: a strategic shift towards AI-driven mobility. Despite declining car sales, Tesla continues to advance its vision of self-driving technology. The company currently operates driverless taxis in Austin, Dallas, and Houston, and obtained a ride-hailing license in Arizona last November. Elon Musk continues to paint an ambitious timeline for this technology. He recently stated that within five to ten years, AI-powered self-driving cars will handle 90% of driving tasks, making human-driven vehicles a niche activity. This progress further underscores Tesla's strategic shift from an electric vehicle manufacturer to a high-margin AI-driven mobility platform. This year, Tesla is aggressively promoting its self-driving business in the US, which is expected to accelerate its self-driving taxi revenue growth and boost market confidence in its long-term prospects. Key Strengths: Successful nationwide scaling is expected to significantly expand the target market and support its high valuation. Key Risks: Regulatory hurdles or safety incidents could delay expansion and require human oversight, impacting timelines and revenue growth. For investors who believe in the convergence of AI and mobility, Tesla remains a highly promising investment. The long-term implementation of autonomous driving technology will be crucial. I executed a market buy order for Tesla (TSLA) at $413.18 per share. In pre-market trading today (May 21st), 400 shares were traded near the day's low of approximately $412.90. The large order was executed quickly with zero slippage. I successfully timed the dip – as long as we hold key support levels, we need to watch whether the upward trend continues. #Tesla #Trading #Investing

Tesla-SpaceX Merger Outlook (as of May 2026): Speculation about a potential merger between Tesla and SpaceX persists but has not yet been confirmed. A January 2026 report indicated that SpaceX was exploring the possibility of collaborating with Tesla or xAI to align with its planned IPO. No formal negotiations have been publicly announced. Key Factors for Investors: Strategic Intent: Musk has expressed a desire to integrate his companies to unlock synergies in artificial intelligence, robotics, energy, and space. Joint projects like Terafab support this, but operational focus remains crucial. Economic Logic: The merged entity could form a multi-trillion-dollar platform with significant cross-company benefits, but valuation matching and potential equity dilution for Tesla shareholders pose challenges. Investment Logic Impact: Tesla is a pure-play company focused on electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and energy. A merger could attract ecosystem investors but could also alienate institutional investors seeking focused investment strategies. Regulatory and Enforcement Barriers: Any transaction will face stringent antitrust scrutiny, complex financing issues, corporate governance challenges, and integration challenges. Investment Implications: Tesla's main drivers in the near term remain advancements in Full Self-Driving, energy storage, Optimus robotics, and profit margins. Merger rumors may influence short-term market sentiment, but these deals remain speculative and not the core scenario. A successful SpaceX IPO could be a significant catalyst, as it provides a public valuation and liquidity. Given the substantial risks and uncertainties involved, investors should prioritize operational progress over merger speculation.

Tesla (TSLA) Analysis: Tesla stock is currently trading at $445.27. Given the Q1 2026 earnings report confirming scalable profitability in the automotive business and a viable AI roadmap, a hold strategy is recommended for existing positions. However, the stock is currently trading above Wall Street's consensus target, model-based fair value, and recent insider selling levels. Its forward P/E ratio exceeds 200x, assuming positive growth expectations, while management has indicated that key catalysts will not materially contribute to 2026 revenue. Recommendation: Hold existing positions for long-term growth potential in autonomous driving and robotics. Wait for large new purchases at current prices. A more attractive entry point would be a pullback to the 200-day moving average (approximately $405), provided that Cybercab achieves internal milestones, Robotaxi achieves safe driverless operations in Phoenix, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and Las Vegas, and Optimus V3 achieves stable production. Triggers for Selling/Reducing Holdings Significant delays in product launches, regulatory changes or competition leading to declining profit margins, or further weakness in the energy business. This prudent strategy prioritizes risk management in a high-valuation environment. Tesla's prospects remain dependent on actual performance. Tesla (TSLA), Bridgestone (PLTR), and Microsoft (MSFT) Forecast – Tech Stocks May Take a Break Tesla's stock price looks set to remain largely unchanged from Wednesday's closing price, given the significant market volatility but overall positive sentiment. That said, unusually high interest rates are negatively impacting some of the stocks that have surged. A slight pullback might be helpful. It appears that both $420 and $400 levels are providing support. On the upside, I think we could potentially see a return to $490, but that will take some time.

Tesla (TSLA) shares rose more than 1% in early trading Wednesday after the electric vehicle giant announced plans to invest nearly $250 million more in its battery manufacturing plant outside Berlin. Meanwhile, competition remains fierce as BYD (BYD) continues to increase its investment in the European market. Tesla and BYD Target European Expansion The Chinese automaker is reportedly in talks with Stellantis (STLA) and other European automakers to acquire idle factories in the region. This new investment by Tesla is on top of a nearly $1.2 billion investment made last December. This additional investment will boost the capacity of Tesla's Gigafactory in Grindelwald, southeast of Berlin (Tesla's only Gigafactory on the European continent), from a planned 8 gigawatt-hours (GWh) in December to potentially 18 GWh. This move comes as Tesla plans to concentrate battery and electric vehicle production in one location starting next year. The electric vehicle maker's plans come as data shows its sales are recovering in several European markets, including Germany, France, and Spain. In March of this year, Tesla's vehicle registrations in Germany increased by 315% year-on-year. This capacity expansion "may indicate improved demand in Europe." This expansion will help Tesla supply batteries for more than 250,000 Model Y SUVs. I maintain my "Hold" rating on Tesla stock, with an average price target of $403.86 for TSLA, implying approximately a 7% downside risk from current trading levels. This is a personal opinion and not a trading signal.

Electric carmaker Tesla's (TSLA -1.27%) self-driving taxi service in Texas has reportedly suffered from numerous errors, including sending passengers to the wrong destinations and long wait times. Insufficient supply of taxis According to Reuters, its reporters recently tested Tesla's self-driving taxis in Texas and found that they are still in the "beta testing phase." Tesla announced last month it was expanding its self-driving taxi operations to Dallas and Houston. Reporters found that this service has problems such as long waiting times and sometimes even the inability to request a ride at all. Some trips reportedly drop off at locations far from passengers' actual destinations. When a reporter recently used Tesla service in Dallas, it took nearly two hours to get from the Southern Methodist University campus to Dallas City Hall, a journey that normally only takes 20 minutes. In the end, Tesla sent the reporter to a parking lot, and it took 15 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the destination. Additionally, there were issues with the Tesla reservation app for vehicles, resulting in long waits. Tesla did not comment on the report. What does this mean for investors? But the news is concerning for Tesla and its investors, who remain convinced the company is close to launching a massive fleet of self-driving taxis in the United States. In fact, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said last year that Tesla's driverless taxis would serve half of the U.S. population by the end of 2025. It also casts doubt on Musk’s promise that Tesla’s self-driving technology “runs anywhere” and expectations for earnings growth. During a recent first-quarter earnings call, Musk said driverless taxi contributions "won't be very significant this year," adding that they are expected to become "significant" next year. As Tesla encounters difficulties in Texas, it also faces increasingly fierce competition. Alphabet's Waymo and Amazon's Zoox are both accelerating the large-scale deployment of driverless taxis. This puts Tesla's capabilities in safety and scale into even greater focus. Is Tesla stock worth buying now? Tesla (TSLA) has a rating consensus of "Hold," based on 12 "Buy" ratings, 12 "Hold" ratings, and 5 "Sell" ratings, according to TipRanks. Its top price target is $600. The consensus price for Tesla stock is $403.86, which implies a 9.25% downside.

Tesla (TSLA) Pre-Market Forecast – May 11, 2026 Core Outlook: Slight Pullback with High-Level Consolidation Following Friday’s 4.02% gain to $428.35, TSLA is trading in pre-market at approximately $423.56 (–1.12%). This aligns precisely with the expected range of $421.00–$426.00, reflecting technical profit-taking in overbought conditions (RSI near 70) and light volume consolidation ahead of the open.Key Influences Technical: Short-term sellers trimming after the sharp rally; $430 remains the immediate resistance. Macro: Resilient jobs data continues to support expectations of elevated interest rates, pressuring high-valuation growth stocks. Bitcoin linkage: BTC holding above $80,000 at $81,241 provides indirect support via Tesla’s crypto holdings. Fundamentals: Cybercab production ramp at Giga Texas remains on schedule; recent Cybertruck and camera-system recalls are already priced in and historically have minimal sustained impact. Key Levels Support: $421.20 (break risks intraday retest of $415) Resistance: $431.50 (break opens path toward $440) Summary & Trading Guidance The forecasted pre-market pullback and consolidation are unfolding as anticipated. Avoid chasing strength pre-open. Monitor the first-hour post-open price action and volume: Hold above $425 with expanding volume → bullish signal, potential extension toward $450 next week. Continued drift on low volume below $421 → increased risk of pullback to ~$410 intraday. This setup suggests balanced, range-bound trading into the open with the $430 breakout remaining the primary focus for directional conviction.
