Three Things To Remember As A Perps Trader:
1. Leverage is not an edge, it's a tool
Leverage doesn't increase your probability of being right - it increases the financial consequences (for better or worse) of your exposure.
2. Your first responsibility is capital preservation.
You cannot trade tomorrow's opportunities if you destroy your account today.
3. Judge yourself by the quality of your decisions, not the outcome of individual trades.
Bad trades sometimes make money. Good trades sometimes lose money. The goal is a disciplined process that can produce positive results over time.
