16 months ago - diagnosed with bone marrow failure. Months in hospital isolation on blood transfusions just to survive whilst they searched for a stem cell donor.
12 months yesterday - my stem cell transplant after intensive chemo & conditioning.
Today - THE SUMMIT OF BEN NEVIS!
As a reminder- this is all part of mine and my dad’s challenge of the Three Peaks over three days to mark my transplant anniversary - and highlight the amazing life-saving potential of stem cell donation.
