This is the best game we’ve ever built… and I can’t wait for you to try it.
If you are an iPhone user you can try it this week. Android just a few short weeks away. We plan to be fully launched in March.
This has to be a home run, and we are going to put our best swing on it. If you enjoy our harness racing games, this one is very similar to Off and Pacing. You manage a team that competes against teams managed by other real players. Your team plays two games a day, and your job is to put the best team on the field - you can set your lineup, trade, sign free agents, manage your prospects and more.
We need your support on this one - a great game is only as strong as it’s community of players. And we want to bring you along for the ride as this game is built. You can join the Discord community now to help shape the game’s future (link below). You can also follow @meta_baseball to stay in the loop!

Yesterday @crtrot 13 drivers competed for a total of $2,075 in pay for the day ($159 average pay). The @ont_agco (@AGCO_Racing) then issued fines of $600, reducing the total pay to $1,475 ($113 average).
The average driver lost money by going to work yesterday after expenses.
These guys need thousands of dollars worth of equipment, travel long distances to get to the track, and put their health on the line every time they get behind a horse.
This isn't sustainable. In the same way we are rapidly losing the horse population in Ontario we will also lose our driver colony. Who is going to show up to work just to lose money after gas, equipment and fines?
A few things need to happen immediately:
1) The AGCO needs to bring fines in line with earnings. They are overly punitive when considering the amount of money drivers can earn especially at smaller tracks.
2) Ontario Racing needs to institute a small guaranteed payment for getting behind a horse. The jockeys have this because they have a voice through their association. Drivers likely need to organize in order to achieve this - it's unlikely to happen unless they band together to demand it.

Hi everyone - as some of you know, I have been quietly working on obtaining my driver’s license for harness racing. I have completed 8 qualifying drives so far, and have accumulated 40 of the required 50 points. I could potentially reach this goal in as little as two more qualifiers.
I want to say a huge thank you to Jason Libby (@jlibby1969), Lorne House (@HouseLorne) , and Lindsey Kerr (@ClayFace1) for giving me the opportunity to get this far in the process. And of course the support and mentorship of my dad Daniel Clements (@DanielWClements).
I was born into a love for this sport, and have always been involved in some way or another. When the sport is in your blood, it just keeps pulling you in. I always had a desire to get my driver's license, but it was something I kept putting off. The passion for driving has really grown over this short time since I started doing my qualifiers. My first drive I will admit I was more nervous than excited for, but with each race I'm finding myself getting more comfortable, and really starting to have fun out there now.
If anyone needs a driver for qualifiers at Western Fair, Hiawatha, or Clinton, please consider reaching out. I’m looking forward to participating and gaining more experience - and I'd greatly appreciate any opportunities!
Thank you.

No luck for the club today on OnGait. Took our best shot at a promising looking 2 year old filly, but it wasn’t meant to be.

Prince Lee Acres bred horses make headlines across North America. For the first time ever, "P L" yearlings will be sold this fall at the @LdnClassic sale - including P L Jill's first foal 👀. They will sell under the Dean & Ashley Wilson consignment, so be sure not to miss them!
P L Ozzy paid immediate dividends for his connections, making his first start over Rideau Carleton Raceway in style with a top level tally that stands as the nation's fastest on a five-eighths mile oval this year → bit.ly/3q8uhTv #harnessracing

Selling today. 4 year old mare with lots of room on her card. Racing better every start. Getting her raced consistently has been a challenge with cancellations and lack of entries.

Garrett Rooney had a breakout year last year - earning a career best $1,142,515 in purses as a catch driver (taking home $57,000 for himself).
The @Ont_AGCO just handed him a 5 day suspension and $300 fine for a whipping violation. This is overly punitive and harms someone from their ability to earn a living.
These suspension days will not only cost him the purse money he could have earned in those days - but as a catch driver it can set you back literally for months as you try to re-establish yourself as trainers may keep listing the driver who took your place on a horse in many cases.
We are racing for purses where it is nearly impossible to survive as a horse person in Ontario as it is - the @Ont_AGCO needs to reassess it's penalties in this light.
Imagine you made a small mistake at work, say for example an AGCO Judge missed a horse going through pylons - and they were told to stay home for 5 days without pay & that they will be assessed a fine on top of that.
Sure, it looks like they caught Garrett using "more than acceptable wrist action" in this race - but the penalty assessed is completely out of line.
It's not right & it needs to change. This is just one example of many - but the AGCO is harming the sport with their actions. Let us race.
