The top down, macro view is great as long as the underlying variables being averaged out don't change....
But if you don't know what's under the hood, you can't tell if your variable-smoothing model is obsolete. Well not until it is.
Excellent panel happening right now on #CBCDs at #ebaday Madrid. On stage are @ecb, @DeutscheBank @jpmorgan, @nexipayments and @gverdian from @quantnetwork.
Moving on to wCBCD, emphasis on use cases driving innovation from bullish Emma. Manuel perhaps less certain of when and how.
@gverdian predicting multiple wCBCD implementation in next few years swiftly followed by rCBCD. Consensus from Daniel, Emma on wCBCD, less so on retail. In contrast Manuel seemingly more positive on retail than wholesale.
