Pocket Pavilions

Hello all, I’m not posting on this platform since a few years back. If anyone wants updates on what I’m up to, feel free to follow me on Instagram 🌈 instagram.com/pocketpavilion…

Friday mood.

Adding a bit of texture to some rhythmic organ chords with a talk box. #studiorecording #talkbox #modularsynth

Re-amping. A lovely way to add character to electronic music. I’d say the bulk of what I’ve recorded has pushed air molecules at some point. Smaller speakers tends to make the sounds break up in beautiful ways. I keep a whole box of them - all with their own character.

Springs and things. #modularsynth #eurorack #studiorecording

Evening tinkering.

Seaside.

The long train journeys of this holiday is really having a positive side effect on creativity. With nothing to distract, and the beautiful scenery rolling by, ideas for sounds and music keep coming constantly. And I keep taking notes. #modular #Studiolife #eurorack #interrail

Bratislava, Slovakia

Bratislava, Slovakia. UFO bridge and a box of frozen sausages.

Žižkov Television Tower, Prague. Apparently one of the ugliest buildings in the world. I can think of a few uglier ones.

Heading out. Interrail Day One. Europe Endless

My brother from another mother Trevor just launched a new show! As wonderful and playful as all the myriads of things the man puts his soul into. And there’s talking too…

Making space for new stuff always turns out to be a game of modular tetris. #modularsynth #eurorack
