Exactly one year ago today, at this very time, Judge Hoe-Il ruled against MHDHH and ordered them to return to Ador. I remember being impatient all day, since the trial was scheduled for the evening in my time zone. Around 10 AM KST, the court opened, and the verdict was delivered around 11 AM KST. The Bunniez who were in the courtroom, as well as those of us watching around the world, were completely devastated. A long silence fell, the silence of an irreversible loss. From that day forward, both MHDHH and we have endured a nightmare. In November, the members' return to Ador was announced amidst a confusing situation that persists to this day. Later, in December, Ador expelled Danielle without cause and sued her for an astronomical sum without any evidence. All of this has undoubtedly been a death foretold. MHDHH denounced it almost a year beforehand, but no one responded to their cries for help. On the contrary, they have been slandered, judged, and shamed for demanding dignified treatment. Today marks one year since that tragic day, and absolutely nothing has improved. In fact, everything has worsened, and little by little, NewJeans is becoming what Ditto's music video also predicted: a hazy and nostalgic memory, buried in the hearts of us bunniez, because they were completely ignored and treated with indifference by the very laws that should have protected them. Summary of the damage Ador has caused to MHDHH since the change in executive leadership on August 27, 2024: - Allowing medical files, including sensitive videos and photos, to be leaked to the media. - Gaslighting Hanni when she reported harassment by staff members of another HYBE subsidiary. - Evicting the members from the department they had been given with the earnings from their successful careers. - Sending personnel with cameras to search said department. - Allowing Korean media outlets and cyberbullies to slander the members by fabricating and spreading malicious rumors about them and their families, without taking any concrete action. - Disseminating private information about Hanni's visa, which led to malicious rumors about her immigration status. - Completely dismantle the NewJeans creative team, starting with its head producer, Min Hee-jin. - Allow and fail to take legal action against the cyberbullies who have sent death threats to the members. - Emotionally blackmail the five members into returning to Ador and not appealing the court ruling. - Intimidate the younger members and their families with multimillion-dollar lawsuits to force them to return. - Expel and sue Danielle Marsh for an astronomical amount, without presenting any compelling evidence in court, even 11 months after the legal process began.
