Swinging Cow makes an appearance here. Go get em, JP.
J.P. Méhu's golf journey has taken him all over the world. Next, he'll be part of Big Break x @goodgood_golf. @acaseofthegolf1 visited with him ahead of the new season.
If you’re interesting in learning a little bit about what we’ve been up to at MLGC, give this a listen.
What do the different components of a golf course construction project cost? Or really — what should they cost?
On today’s episode of Designing Golf, @garrett_TFE brings on golf architect Bruce Hepner to discuss his recent work at Miami Lakes Golf Club and his thoughts on the excesses of modern golf architecture.
And yes our Swinging Cow logo is legit. My great grandfather operated a dairy farm where the course sits today for many years.
I’m so happy our work at MLGC is landing with those who come to play it. I would often get asked what we were doing to make the course harder, which drove me nuts. Would always tell them we were doing everything we could to make it more fun. Golf is hard enough as it is!
Making moves at MLGC.
It could be a big year for accessible golf in America. @garrett_TFE dives into the projects to watch in 2026 in his latest Design Notebook.

Shot course record at MLGC a few weeks ago. Hell yea.
A moment Marcelo Rozo will never forget 🤩
He is officially #TOURBound and will be on the PGA TOUR for the first time in 2026.
Congrats to the @fried_egg_golf crew on 10 years. Passionate people with high give a damn levels can really make a difference. I think it shines through in the work and serves as inspiration for others. I've tweeted about our project in Miami Lakes a fair amount...
This past Friday our members presented the First Tee with $122,300. Next year it'll be over $150,000 and it will continue as such long into the future.
Insane that this all happened because someone, @AndyTFE, was passionate about something and decided to give it a go. And that people like @garrett_TFE and @willknightsTFE and @BrendanPorath took a similar risk and jumped in. To many more years of success, @fried_egg_golf.
