Hart, I was a Zionist for nearly all my life. I actually went to live in Israel and was there for some years. So, you don't need to instruct me about that. Seeing the reality that, in order to exist, Israel requires the oppression, dispossession and expulsion of Palestinians took me decades. Now that I see it, I can't unsee it.

This is a tricky one. Who's judgement do I respect in relation to the question of whether Israel has committed the Crime of genocide? A consensus of scholars of genocide and the Holocaust and a UN Special commission of Enquiry? Or Boris Johnson, Sharon Osbourne , Boy George, some filmmakers, authors and a few random general historians? Its a tough one. I need to go away and think .
