I have until 10/31 to decide if I’m going to The Game Awards because I have to work Halo Fest. I’ll only be going to TGA if I’m booked for appointments in LA during that time. So far, there’s none. So that’s your signal, PR folks. (I’ll have other staff there though.)

If you're expecting a SmashPad review for Phantom Blade 0, it likely won't be for a while. We didn't get a code. It was limited to "certain specific media outlets" not including us. I've heard rumors about the parameters, but I'd rather not share them as they're unsubstantiated.

It's frustrating, especially after previewing it for more than five hours after three sessions at SGF and TGA in the last few years. The hardest part is most of our staff exclusively supports physical media, and a disc release isn't planned for release until 2027.

Final Fantasy Resonance is another example of how much more money Square has than Falcom. Almost everything is voiced and it still boggles my mind that Trails won’t do that.

For once, my thoughts are on the higher end of things. I think the story is quite good. There were parts where I raised my eyebrows being completely bought in. There’s payoff. The sidequests are good. This game is supposed to be a celebration of FF, and it does that very well.
