Sen Sullivan is a Marine Veteran who will always do what is right for Alaska, veterans and the people of the USA. We need him to stay in the Senate to keep America strong. I urge every voter in Alaska to vote for him.
Alaska has the highest share of veterans of any state. Senator Dan Sullivan fights for every one of them. This is one of the tightest races in the country. Watch the ad and share it.

Rep Miller-Meeks had been a strong champion for her fellow veterans on HVAC and has held VA accountable. I encourage everyone who supports veterans to support her.
Mariannette Miller-Meeks won by just 6 votes in 2020 and under 1,000 last cycle. Every vote matters. She has 20+ years of service as a veteran and physician. She introduced the Veterans' Bill of Rights Act. Support @RepMMM for Congress!

VFW and DAV, if you are confident in your position and facts, I am sure you would want a debate to highlight this important veteran issue before Congress returns for a vote. I hope you will accept the invitation.
Veteran Action Challenges VFW, DAV to Public Debate on the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act VA MISSION Act architect Darin Selnick will debate any representative the bill’s opponents choose The Take Care of America’s Veterans Act (TCAVA) combines 62 bipartisan veterans bills, including the Veterans’ ACCESS Act, the Major Richard Star Act and the Love Lives On Act, into a single package. The House is expected to vote on it in early November, after the midterm elections. Ahead of that vote, a social media campaign by people affiliated with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans is telling veterans the bill takes away the benefits they receive now. Both organizations oppose the bill, warning that it reduces benefits for future disabled veterans. A public debate puts the facts in front of veterans before Congress decides. Veteran Action is challenging the VFW and DAV to that debate. Darin Selnick, a Veteran Action senior adviser and the architect of the VA MISSION Act of 2018, represents Veteran Action. Each opponent may choose its own representative. The opponents’ claims do not match the bill. Section 108 updates VA’s rating criteria for sleep apnea and tinnitus on future claims and leaves existing ratings in place. Yet the VFW and DAV are using Section 108 to intimidate lawmakers. VFW social media ads show veterans facing a firing squad of men in suits. “The VFW and DAV have been caught blatantly lying about key facts of TCAVA, often in private meetings with lawmakers,” says Selnick. “If they believe the bill harms veterans, they can make that case in the open, across a table from me, with veterans watching. I will debate anyone they send.” The terms are simple. The opponents pick their debaters. Veteran Action accepts any neutral moderator and any venue, on air or in person. The debate takes place before Congress votes on the bill. If the opponents decline, Selnick debates an empty chair and goes through the key elements of the bill one by one. Selnick is an Air Force veteran. He served as veterans affairs adviser on the White House Domestic Policy Council and as senior adviser to two VA secretaries. “Nobody understands veteran health care better than Darin Selnick,” says Mark Lucas, founder of Veteran Action. “He was the key architect behind the VA MISSION Act of 2018. We name our debater. The VFW and DAV can name theirs.” About Veteran Action Veteran Action is an organization that advocates for America First policies that strengthen national security and provide unwavering support for America’s veterans.

It is time veterans get the healthcare they have earned.
Prioritizing legislation that improves veterans’ healthcare doesn’t just turn out veterans—it motivates likely midterm voters too. Americans across the political spectrum want better care for our vets. The Take Care of America’s Veterans Act has overwhelming bipartisan support.

Rep Miller-Meeks is a veteran who is a great champion of veterans both in word and deed. This video is spot on.
Veteran Action Releases Video Campaign Highlighting Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks' Stellar Record on Veterans "Mariannette Miller-Meeks is the biggest champion veterans have in Congress," said Mark Lucas, founder and president of Veteran Action. "She consistently leads on veterans issues. Her 24 years in the Army and her experience as a physician make her an incredible advocate for veterans." @RepMMM introduced the Veterans' Bill of Rights Act, which requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to clearly inform veterans of their rights to care, benefits, dignity and informed consent. She supports the Veterans' ACCESS Act to strengthen VA community care. She also backs the Take Care of America's Veterans Act, a package of more than 60 bipartisan bills that expands health care, benefits and support for veterans, survivors, caregivers and military families. Voters in both parties back these bills. A national Honest Poll survey of 1,633 registered voters, commissioned by Veteran Action, finds 85% of voters support the Veterans' ACCESS Act and 83% support the Veterans' Bill of Rights Act. Support tops 80% among both Republicans and Democrats for each bill. Asked about the Take Care of America's Veterans Act, 62% of voters say they are more likely to back a candidate who supports it, and 11% say they are less likely. Veteran Action recently endorsed Miller-Meeks and Rep. Zach Nunn for reelection. Veteran Action Calls for Full, Transparent Investigation of VA Response in San Carlos Deaths Veteran Action calls on the Department of Veterans Affairs to conduct a full and transparent investigation into the care Navy veteran David Voight sought the day before he, his wife and their 13-year-old daughter were found dead in their San Carlos home. If that investigation finds that VA staff failed to follow law or policy, Veteran Action demands accountability. San Diego police identify the victims as David Voight, his wife, Amy Voight, and their daughter, Mya. Police continue to investigate. Family members tell FOX 5 San Diego that David Voight served about 30 years in the Navy, including explosive ordnance disposal work and deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Relatives say he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and that his symptoms had recently worsened. According to Amy Voight's parents, she took her husband to a VA clinic on Sept. 15 and asked staff whether they could help him calm down, citing anxiety, depression and frustration. The family says staff told them counselors were busy and that he needed an appointment. The VA disputes the family's account. It cites privacy rules in declining to discuss the case and says all VA facilities offer same-day mental health care to veterans who request it. "This is a tragedy beyond words," said Mark Lucas, founder and president of Veteran Action. "A veteran in crisis needs care immediately, whether at the VA or in the community. The public still does not have a complete account of what happened at that clinic. That is why a full investigation is necessary." Federal law sets clear requirements when a veteran is in acute suicidal crisis. The COMPACT Act allows an eligible veteran in acute suicidal crisis to receive emergency care at a VA or non-VA facility at no cost, whether or not the veteran is enrolled in VA health care. Covered care can include up to 30 days of inpatient or crisis residential treatment and up to 90 days of related outpatient care. Separately, the MISSION Act makes a veteran eligible for community care when the VA cannot meet its access standards, including a 20-day wait-time standard for mental health care from the date of request, unless the veteran agrees to a later date. Veteran Action advocates for better mental health access through the Take Care of America's Veterans Act and the Veterans' ACCESS Act. The Take Care of America's Veterans Act packages more than 60 bipartisan veterans' bills, including the ACCESS Act, and would build on the MISSION Act to strengthen veterans' ability to obtain timely care inside or outside the VA. About Veteran Action Veteran Action advocates for America First policies that strengthen national security and support America's veterans. ###

Very important new poll shows how much support there is from the public on the Take Care of Americas Veterans Act. Also politically smart as 62% more likely to vote for members in House and Senate if you support the bill, only 11% less likely.
Stunning! Voters of both parties OVERWHELMINGLY back the Take Care of America's Veterans Act, as well as all of its major components. @gop This is as close as you get to a legislative NO-BRAINER. Sponsored by @VeteranAction so results are fully open. thehonestpoll.com/polls/new-…

Important message from Mark Lucas on TCAVA. Important for Republicans to not take veterans votes for granted.
Republicans take the veteran vote for granted. Democrats are capitalizing. I built @VeteranAction last year for exactly this moment — to pass veteran healthcare reform and to give the veteran community a real counterweight to VoteVets, which committed $45 million to Biden-Harris in 2024. Mikie Sherrill's PAC endorses 13 candidates with military and national security records. She spends August in American Legion halls, stumping for them. POLITICO Playbook reports she is hyper-focused on veterans. Democrats see the veteran vote as their path back to the majority. Soros-backed VoteVets runs the same play, pouring millions into competitive battleground states. Republicans hold the majority and have not delivered. The Take Care of America's Veterans Act combines 62 bipartisan bills. It protects veteran healthcare choice and ends the wounded veteran tax through the Major Richard Star Act — a bill carrying 334 House cosponsors and 79 in the Senate that has gone six years without a vote. Twenty-three veterans service organizations back TCAVA. The Speaker brought it to the floor last month and had to pull it after VA Secretary Doug Collins undercut the effort. Veteran Action is calling on House Republicans to put TCAVA back on the floor when Congress returns. Veterans do not care who gets the credit. They care whether the bill passes. Pass TCAVA.

🚨 NEW AD @SecVetAffairs Doug Collins opposes President Trump's veterans agenda. Trump signed historic veteran reforms, saving lives. The Take Care of America's Veterans Act protects these reforms. House Republicans blame Collins for killing the bill. A White House official calls it "a self-inflicted loss at the hands of the VA secretary." Trump delivers. Collins does not.

The VA MISSION Act was just the beginning of President Trump’s strong commitment to our veterans. “We have a responsibility to meet the needs of these veterans,” said Senator @MarshaBlackburn when discussing why passing the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act is a top priority for her and President Trump.

Pete Hegseth and I have fought the Veterans Industrial Complex for years. The woke, leftist leaders at the VFW and DAV fight for budgets and access, not veterans. That's why they're siding with Democrats and unions against White House-backed reform. Pete and I have always stood by their members. They are our people. Their D.C. bosses left them behind.

Very important OPED from Mark Lucas.
Trump did more for veterans than any modern president— his VA MISSION Act gave vets access to care outside a broken system. The Take Care of America's Veterans Act builds on his legacy. Congress must pass this bill. Read my full oped on Fox News ⬇️
