Dear @wmrfl Dudley Athletic FC would like to formally request Saturday 21st November off. There’s no wedding, no stadium issue and no shortage of players… GTA 6 is out and, quite frankly, we’ve got priorities. 🎮😂 We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time. Regards, Dudley Athletic FC

NEXT UP ⚽️ This Saturday we make the 14-mile trip to Stourport-on-Severn as we return to league action against @SwiftsDevelop . After no game last weekend, the lads are eager to get back out there and get some important points on the board. Time to get back at it. 👊 UP THE ATHLETIC!

🔴⚪️ INTO THE NEXT ROUND! 🔴⚪️ A 3–1 win and a very good all-round team performance from the lads tonight to book our place in the next round of the J.W. Hunt Cup. 🏆 From the first whistle we created chances, played some really good football and caused problems throughout. On another night it could and probably should have been a few more, but we got the job done and that’s what matters. 👊 ⚽️⚽️ Melaku Hunter ⚽️ Ethan Masson Three goals, plenty more chances created and, most importantly, our name is in the hat for the next round. 🎩🏆 Another positive performance to build on. The lads are growing together, confidence is building and we keep moving in the right direction. 💪 CUP JOURNEY CONTINUES. 🔴⚪️🏆 UP THE ATHLETIC!

They don’t get much bigger than this one. 🔥 Local derby. Bragging rights at stake. 👀 Looking forward to welcoming my old pal @neilperks .🤝 Roll on tomorrow. 🔵⚪️

NEXT UP — DERBY DAY AWAITS! ⚪️🔵 It doesn’t get much more local than this… Dudley Athletic vs @tiptontownfc . 🔥 Two local clubs. Plenty of familiar faces. Local pride on the line and three big points to play for. Games like these always have that little bit extra about them — and we’re expecting exactly that tomorrow. Bring on the derby. 👊 UP THE ATHLETIC! 🔵⚪️

Only 3 games into the season and the 7-day rule has gone out the window already… 😂🙄 Step 5 club approaching a Step 7 player directly instead of doing things properly. 🤷🏻‍♂️👀 You’d expect better from a club that should know the rules inside out… Football never disappoints. 😂

FULL TIME: @fc_bilbrook 3–6 DUDLEY ATHLETIC What a night! 🔥 We came flying out the blocks and found ourselves 3–0 up inside the opening 30 minutes. Credit to Bilbrook, they came out strong after the break and battled their way back to 3–3. A change of formation, a few substitutions and the lads found another gear — scoring three more to secure our first points of the season! 💪 ⚽ Ethan Masson ×4 ⚽ Matty Wood ⚽ Melaku Hunter Massive credit to Bilbrook — a very good side who played some excellent football and will cause plenty of teams problems this season. We wish them all the very best for the rest of the season. 🤝 Nine goals, end-to-end football and plenty of drama. Some game! Bilbrook 3–6 Dudley Athletic 🔴⚪️ UP THE ATHLETIC!

This lad has absolutely everything. 🧤👏 Great attitude, works hard every single session and is always looking to improve. A top young keeper with a massive future ahead of him. Really pleased we’ve got Sam with us this season. 💙

✍️ NEW SIGNING | SAM WESTWOOD We’re delighted to confirm the signing of young goalkeeper Sam Westwood for the 2026/27 season. 🧤 Previously with Bustleholme and Dudley Town, Sam has impressed us throughout pre-season and shown plenty of quality between the sticks. A talented young keeper with a big future ahead of him, and we’re delighted to get this one over the line. Welcome to Dudley Athletic, Sam! 🔵⚪️ Proudly sponsored by SJ Westwood – Building & Civil Contractor. Up the Athletic! 💙🤍

🚨 Stop the world… I want to get off. 🤦‍♂️ 🤯 Players who’ve never played Step 7 asking for £500 signing-on fees and £100 a game. ⚽ Whatever happened to earning your place and letting your football do the talking? 📉 The game’s losing the plot. 👀 Anyone else seeing this? 👀

NEXT UP 🔵⚪️ We go again tomorrow night as we travel to Great Barr to take on @BustleholmeFC1 👊⚽️ After last week’s 2–0 loss to Bustleholme, the lads will be hungry to respond and put in a performance that reflects what we’re about. We showed enough in spells to know we can compete — now it’s about doing it consistently and taking our chances when they come. A big test against a strong side, but one we’re fully ready for. Time to stand up and deliver 💪🔥 #UTA #NextUp #NonLeagueFootball
