Call me a pessimist, but if Neander and the FO don’t bring in legit offensive support to this already struggling lineup, it will be an early exit for the Rays come playoffs. I simply don’t believe what the team has is enough. That and add no baseball 2027. Talk about hard times.

Conspiracy Theory: Why would the Tigers move Skubal this far ahead of the deadline... for a seemingly mediocre return? Detroit's ownership would be one of the franchises hoping for a Salary Cap. If you were hopeful of a salary cap, would it help your cause to move one of the best pitchers in baseball to the Brewers? Rays? or Dodgers?
