Two opposing factions, yet two of their members are hopelessly in love with their sworn enemy.
We've all gathered here for this peak🔥
Hanako's heart is patched up with bandages and stitches. He's surrounded by people who genuinely care about him. His past still has a profound influence on him, but he's been given the chance to heal and grow.
Tsukasa's heart, on the other hand, is still bleeding.
This artwork actually foreshadowed the exact manner of Amane's death, long before it was revealed in the manga. It also suggests that Tsukasa was stabbed directly in the heart.
I also like the symbolism of their hearts

Also I find it sweet how Amane's constantly yapping with :D while Tsukasa intently listens with :0

Nothing means more to me than these two getting along. Ima be honest y'all, I'd take a happy ending between these two than one for any ship. Their sibling relationship means so much to me, I kid u not.

I feel like an underrated aspect to the Yugi Twin's relationship is how(seemingly, of course) they looked to have had a geneuinly good, close relationship for almost their entire lives, and things only started to really sour after they actually started attending Kamome Academy.+

this entire sequence is rather tragic to me. i think it was interesting of aidairo to offer commentary on how the terminally ill (particularly those who are young) are treated in a way which limits them to their illness, as though they will never be anything more than that. 1/3

I don’t know if people like this realize but aidairo doesn’t *have* to give us events. If you look at many other mangaka’s, they don’t do as much as aidairo does. Not to mention they were sick for almost a whole year. Take the food they give you and count it as a blessing
