I thoroughly believe if we made every Supes fan read this novel, the discourse on here would instantly be 60% healthier and more bearable 😭😭
I think this story is one of the best ways to get into the character

labor in sci-fi on this international workers' day. art by james gurney, oliver frey, david schleinkofer, ralph brillhart
Back when this image was being shared around, it reminded me that a similar situation happened in Crucible, the book that capped off the Legends…except in that book, LUKE was in Devaronian-face!!
So like…37 years after Tattoine Ghost, HAN LOANED LUKE HIS DEVARONIAN “KIT”?!?!?!

I keep seeing people say that Finn and Poe would never have accepted a recalcitrant Ben.
And like…of course they wouldn’t!! And the resulting drama between them would have been so good!!!
“Poe would definitely take a shot at Ben the minute he showed his face”
Maybe he should try! Stop threatening me with a good time!!
