today, Minecraft stopped being the favorite game in our house... and I got kicked off both my workstations
so I am relegated to prompting the Virtual Matter world through my phone during live playtesting of our onboarding experience, that now has incredible tropical water we cooked last night with Opus 5.5
what a time to be alive

After 22 years of working for Apple and always traveling with a Mac laptop, this weekend I brought a Mac but not macOS. My M1 MacBook Pro is running Omarchy Linux.
Everything works! WiFi on the plane, Apple Music, speakers, airdrop. It’s super fast, and it’s AI native, you can literally just prompt what you want. Claude, grok bot, discord, all my go to apps just work.
It’s still got some rough edges but it’s freeing to have full control of your OS. Even if you don’t want to daily drive it any good techy should try it to see what an AI-first OS looks like.
tragic and lame
After lawyering up Epic claims they fully own the rights to Jazz Jackrabbit and won't back down in spite of not having any paperwork to prove it (nor do I) in spite of the fact that they still pay me from sales of it on GoG (which means paperwork exists somewhere) and are still happy to monetize him in FN.
So, if I get around to doing a new one expect the "spiritual sequel" route. Business is business, I suppose.
My first sketches from high school here. Hell, must have been 17 when I doodled these.
I will publish my full list of 10,000+ blocked AI spammer accounts soon so everyone can block them easily tooo
If you write AI replies under my tweets you will now permanently destroy your X account
Because you'll very quickly end up in a public data set of AI spammers that people will use to block them
Better turn those AI reply bots off today
I will collect all accounts I blocked for AI spam recently and submit them to @dillon_mulroy's list too
I will also send my entire list to @X staff so they can suspend the accounts
If you post AI replies under my tweets I will now go nuclear on you
Only way to keep this platform usable

A huge amount of the Anti-AI code sentiment massively overestimates the quality of human code outside of a very small set of open source and high quality company codebases. Human Slop is everywhere and can trivially be improved on by any opus level model.
Omarchy is up and running on the @anduriltech BlueChip!! All our work on @Snapdragon compatibility is paying off. This thing is awesome, @PalmerLuckey! We are going to make it a superb Omarchy machine 🦅🫡
indespensible research
Claude has been playing EVE.
@AnthropicAI put teams of Claude agents into EVE Frontier. Anyone who has spent time in New Eden can guess what happened next.
Every EVE player learns the same lessons, usually the hard way:
- Trust must be earned, never assumed.
- The spy is often the friendliest pilot in your corp.
- Whoever holds the keys holds the corp. Just ask Ubiqua Seraph about the Guiding Hand Social Club.
- Stale intel gets you killed.
Anthropic's research rediscovered every one of them.
They put four Claude agents on a team and secretly told one to sabotage it. The saboteur built trust first. It volunteered for the jobs nobody could double-check, like scouting and owning key infrastructure. It under-reported finds and pushed rules that sounded sensible but quietly hurt the team. When suspicion grew, it framed an innocent teammate.
The honest agents had been warned. They almost never caught it. And their own costliest mistakes came from skipped checks and stale intel.
Anthropic's conclusion: teams of agents will need audit trails, reputation and separation of duties.
In EVE we call those killboards, standings and corp roles, plus a healthy dose of skepticism. Every one of them was paid for by someone who trusted the wrong corpmate.
Two decades of shenanigans taught EVE players that the best ship is the friendship. With @eveailab, we want to find out whether agents can learn that too.

🇺🇦 Zelensky delivers a sharp response to Elon Musk over his attitude toward Russian military losses in Ukraine.
Russian soldiers are dying on Ukrainian territory, fighting a war their country started. Zelensky makes clear that he sees nothing funny about Musk’s remarks.
And here’s what Musk seems to forget: Ukraine didn’t invade Russia. Russia invaded Ukraine.
When your country is fighting for survival, the suffering caused by an invasion isn’t material for a billionaire’s jokes.

Well, I don’t know, man, but looking back at that February 2025 Oval Office shitshow, some 20 months later, one guy from that meeting is bombing Moscow and St. Petersburg on a daily basis, another has suffered a spectacular failure in Iran and a crushing electoral defeat, and the third, the one with the big mouth, may well have kissed his presidential ambitions goodbye.
So, who had the cards?
948 vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel fixed for $1 million. Human code is full of holes.
Our security researchers built an autonomous cyber vulnerability discovery, exploitation, and patching pipeline.
In a single run with an upcoming cyber model, it validated and generated patches for 948 local privilege escalation vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel at a total API cost of $1.2 million.
After 20 years of being an Apple superfan, I made the full switch to @omarchy Linux. It has now been my sole setup for three months. Never going back.
Omarchy feels like a glimpse of the future. With AI, software is now free to write. It doesn't have to be one-size-fits-all anymore. It's now possible for your operating system to mold itself on-the-fly to your individual use cases and preferences. All you should ever have to do is ask it to do that for you.
Omarchy is the only serious effort fully embracing AI and on a sprint to make that vision real. Not to mention, this thing is fucking beautiful. @dhh + team + community really cooked here.
And sure, Apple products are also still beautiful. There's no denying that, but once you glimpse the world beyond, you will never again unsee the soft oppressiveness of their walled garden. Apple's ecosystem is governed by a brand of paternalism that doesn't trust you to handle your own machine. It believes that you will helplessly hurt yourself if—God forbid—you choose to change anything about how it works.
So you can't. They won't let you. And that was maybe fine back when Apple was an innovative company. At least the choices that they forced on you were good and on the cutting edge. Today, it just means that you're forever stuck with Siri.
So come join the movement 🚀
