Cancer care is data-rich like never before. That's a good thing, but it can overwhelm patients and providers. At the 10th Value in Cancer Care Summit, @ShankaranVeena and others explored ways to redesign systems to support meaningful communication between patients and providers.

Congrats @natashakwemd and #hicor @fredhutch on a great poster discussion @ASCO - important and sober findings showing that #financialtoxicity leads to more hospital use and total healthcare $ at end of life. Lots of work to do ! @sheetalkircher lively discussion.

This is the reason why a reaction of "oh that's interesting" to an analysis is like a record scratch in my head. It means it's time to go back and triple check everything😅
The most plausible explanation for any surprising results is a data issue. Therefore, you should always eliminate data issues as a possible cause before announcing your findings, lest they be wrong

Absolutely this. I am forever grateful for those who willingly share their conversations allowing me to learn about so many different topics. Especially marginalized communities who should not be burdened with teaching me yet voluntarily share in this public space. Thank you 💜

Still not over Google Reader disappearing. Fingers crossed I won't need to add Twitter to that list. But just in case, I also have a dusty, barely used IG account I may as well share. instagram.com/catherinebluem…
I still use Bing as my default search engine because Google Reader disappeared 🤣
