Interesting thought in useful thread on product management
Replying to @andybudd
Ultimately I think 80% of Product Manager jobs should be re-titled Project Manager. However this would obviously upset a lot of people. So we find ourself in the situation of having lots of Product Managers working as Project Managers without necessarily realising it.

We have BIG NEWS to share: @AtlanHQ raised a $50M Series B led by @insightpartners, @SalesforceVC, and @Sequoia_India. 🥁🥁🥁 We decided to keep this one real... so here’s exactly how we announced the news internally and our team’s reaction to it. 💙

Anyone on Android and knows how to get rid of "Home" on your Twitter account? I want my timeline, not a random thing and it's not on my other accounts

If you've had success with getting a company to stop technology services to businesses in Russia, could you let me know? Modern warfare is hugely dependent on logistics and relying on components working in sync, feeding the supply lines.

Another wide-ranging chat with @DataEngPodcast. Similar to the one recently with @DataProductScot, but with some complementary detail (and musings about the entity layer).
In this episode Abhi Sivasailam talks about his work at Flexport to design and implement a data mesh solution that relies heavily on data contracts to provide a stable interface that teams can implement for integrating analytical workflows dataengineeringpodcast.com/d…

I have a funny feeling that the “NFTs will allow you to own your skins across games” crowd would basically nod along to “Yes because the skins are just JSON blobs” and “You know you can do the same thing with medical records; shame nobody has tried yet. (Also just JSON blobs.)”

Seeing this type of sentiment pretty often in conversations about Airflow. It is starting to feel a bit like Apache Storm in the early days as Spark came on scene. Or maybe even the Hadoop evolution - broad adoption and enabled good things but too much hassle at scale.
Hard to use, hasn't kept up with competitor innovation (e.g. prefect), often superceded by tools built directly on top (e.g. astro), may be outmoded way of thinking about orch (vis-a-vis dagster), and big chunks of use case footprint were carved out by other frameworks (e.g. dbt)
