Sat down with new @UConnMBB GM Charlie Stevens out in East Lansing.
Been a whirlwind couple of months Stevens since leaving @spurs for Huskies: got married, honeymoon in Spain, whole lotta recruiting visits/trips that have yielded impressive results.

Tarris Reed Jr. said if he was at UConn, Dan Hurley would be "yelling at me because I had 10 boards in the first half. I eased up a little bit in the beginning of the second half, could have easily walked away with 20, 25 rebound. So I got to be better with myself on that part."

B2B 🏆s and a runner-up finish in a 4 year span. Not bad, Dan Hurley. This year's group is capable of greatness as well.
The incumbent backcourt features two All-American caliber players in Silas Demary Jr. and Braylon Mullins. The Huskies will need to rely on some younger pieces this season, but it's a very talented incoming crop of sophomore transfers and freshman.
They'll be tested early on here, as the Huskies have one of the toughest non-con slates we've ever seen.
