Especially nice when your academic article is quoted very soon after publication. Academic publishing is slooow and it's difficult to make late changes, so that person REALLY wanted to cite you - and went to some hassle to do it.
Ok then... how long before universities (probly US ones first) require new admissions to pledge: I will never join a campus protest (on pain of instant expulsion and/or other punitive misery).

Have you read Manuel Castells' 'The rise of the network society'? He has a lot to say along these lines.
Thank you for your email. I am currently away at a conference so yeah I will actually probably still check and reply to your email pretty quickly. What am I going to do, log off? Come on.

Up next in the @uniofjyvaskyla English seminar series! @SDovchin (Curtin University, Australia):
'Translanguaging: Playfulness & Precarity'

Is "translanguaging" the "I don't see colour" of language? Does it risk erasing parts of diversity?
It has consequences. "Separate language" was a pillar (albeit not decisive) in e.g. legal recognition of African American English.
