So cool. I just walked outside to test a new neural net and a screech owl started calling from the oak tree in our backyard. Just detected a Eastern Screech-Owl with my Haikubox haikubox.social/easowl1_55_2… via @HaikuboxNature

I got a Haiku Box, and it's terrific.
This morning the box “heard” a veery. I was skeptical. There are no September veery sightings for Vinalhaven on ebird. I’ve *never* seen one here. But sure enough, I found my first in a spruce tree an hour later.
Thanks @HaikuboxNature!

I want to tell you about a really cool backyard birding tool I’ve been using called Haikubox.
Sound ID tech is revolutionizing birding, and Haikubox continually listens and IDs the birds outside your home. It’s awesome. @HaikuboxNature
