Já há mecanismo focal, que nos dá uma ideia acerca do tipo de movimento da falha. Neste caso foi um movimento compressivo com uma componente de desligamento direito.

Earlier this week, #EXP401 drilled the 12th hole at Site U1385 in the North Atlantic. That means we reached Hole L! But this got us wondering, which expedition holds the record for drilling the most holes at one site? Read more: joidesresolution.org/reachin… #IODP #NSFFunded

Thrusters are down. That means we’ve arrived at our 3rd site, U1385, in the North Atlantic! 🌊 12 thrusters work together to keep the ship in place as we pull up core from the ocean floor. #NSFFunded #IODP #Exp401

Santa is back at @EarthSciCam with a special delivery of sediment cores. 🎅🚲 @DavidHodell and the @GodwinLab busy here unloading them (there will be 1600 metres in total). It's a balmy 4oC in the refrigerated container, about -1oC outside☃️❄️ #IODP #EXP397
Holidays are coming, holidays are coming...🚛🤶 At 5.30 this morning Santa delivered us a refrigerated shipping container, ready to house 1600 metres of sediment core from the #IODP #Exp397 ⛴️ 🎁 The cores will be analysed with the XRF-scanner here in @EarthSciCam.

The last core of #Exp397! With it, our objectives are complete and we are going home with 6.177 km of core recovered from 16 holes at 4 sites for post-expedition paleoclimate research!

Drilling during Expedition 397 has sadly come to a close😢. Best memento I could have ever received: a used PDC cutting shoe that proved pivotal to the recovery of >6km of core and success of the expedition. Thank you Bubba👍#Exp397 #joidesresolution

Happy to announce that at long last a preprint of our 1.5-million year record from the "Shackleton Site" (U1385) is now availaible at Climate of the Past (cp.copernicus.org/preprints/…). Thanks to all who made this record possible.
