Alex Mealer defeats Brisco Cain, who led the charge to gerrymander Texas’ map mid decade last year in order to give himself a seat in congress. He has been turned away by voters and will be out of a job by next year. #TX09
Projection:
Alex Mealer is the Projected Winner in the #TX09 Republican Primary. She will defeat Briscoe Cain.

Yesterday was a very busy day on the campaign trail but I wanted to highlight an incredibly important organization that I am proud to support - CASA. When a child enters the foster care system because their home is no longer safe, a judge may appoint a committed Child Advocate to help them. That volunteer is called a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) casalctx.org

Right on!
No state income tax? But we do have that shadow tax most refer to as “recapture.” Just a sophisticated shell game where our ISD tax $s go into the state’s general fund. It’s a broken system and we @SBISD aim to disrupt it. #comeandtakeit @GregAbbott_TX
