3 months of SEO progress
Impressions and clicks have been trending up steadily.
Then out of nowhere they almost double over the past few days.
I've used my own SEO tool the whole time. I can't guarantee the same results for you, but it's certainly worked for me!

I didn't expect such a response from this.
I wanted to challenge myself and my SEO product to see if I could replicate the SEO success of my site.
So I dusted off an unused domain and started building.
Not much has changed since yesterday, but we are trending up with almost double the impressions.
Still early days so nothing to write home about.
The Domain Rating did climb however.
0 -> 7
If you are interested you can see the list below👇
I built an SEO tool.
I come on here most days and talk about SEO.
I have built my main site to almost a million impressions a month.
So I have decided to do it again with a spare domain I had lying around.
I will post regular updates over the next few months, and share what is working and what's not.

I spent ages teaching AI agents how to use my SEO product.
Which tool to call. When to call it. What to call next.
Turns out they just needed to get smarter.
Agents are so much better with tools now.
They know what's available, they chain tools together, and they go a step further without being asked.
I asked Claude to look into one blog topic.
It ran keyword research, checked my Search Console, read the SERP, looked at competitors and AI answers, then saved the opportunity.
One prompt.
I didn't touch that side of the product.
The agents got smarter and my product got better with them.

I'll be using @bot and my own SEO tool for pretty much everything.

Gene took his app's website into 50 languages with ContextBolt SEO.
Then he sent me the most detailed feedback we've had since launch. Which errors confused his agent. Where the docs fell short.
Fellow solo founders make the best customers. They tell you exactly what broke and what works.
For me it was such a pain finding a right SEO tool that'd help me to scale my fitness app website to new regions. I genuinely want to give a huge shoutout to @ContextBolt. They have this MCP that connects to your agent in like 2 minutes for a very good price. Check it out!
Heading to bed with 991 followers. @X you know what to do 😉
7 months ago I launched @ContextBolt and started building in public.
Now I'm about to hit $1,000 MRR and 1,000 followers on @X.
A few months ago I started sharing more of the journey here, real photo and all.
Since then I've grown faster than ever.
So I am doubling down and sharing everything, the highs and the lows!
A well-known AI company cold emailed me last week.
Not to sell me anything. They wanted a spot in one of my blog posts.
Tens of millions in funding, and they still do outreach for mentions.
Because that's how you get into AI answers now.
A mention in the right post can get you cited by ChatGPT. A link from it helps you rank on Google.
If they're still doing it, you should be too.

Just hit a new SEO milestone 🥳
I launched my site about 8 months ago and never expected to see results like this.
Here's what worked for me:
1. Think in topics, not pages. Every post belongs to a cluster.
2. Let keyword research pick the cluster. Win the easy searches first.
3. Link every page in a cluster to the others. No orphans.
4. Go deep on a few topics, not thin on everything.
5. Judge the cluster, not the single post.

Obsidian costs $0.
Way too cheap.
So I vibe coded an alternative.
It's $12 a month.
Your notes, linked and searchable, and your agent can read and write them too.
Everyone's racing to the bottom. I'm going the other way.
There's actually a lot more functionality lol.
Check it out.
