Morning citizens of the realm. The video and song below, 'The Long Arrears', is my love letter to my people. It's a cover based on Kipling's 'The Beginnings' and is hopefully the first from my new musical project, Unapologetic Majesty.
Watch the video to see not only who we are, but also who we will be again.
We have God on our side.
My deepest love and thanks to you all.

So a few hrs ago I scattered a couple of kids from outside the pub who kept trying to spraf tabs. Yet when people refused they became abusive and slagged people off.
Several times in the last 2 hrs the same kids have come through to pub to use the toilet. Hitting me with abuse as they walked past.
Then one of them started shouting shit at the door so I lifted my phone and took a photo. The lad ran in and started lashing out. Managed to catch my in the face with god knows what yet I managed to push them back towards the door.
To anyone or the parents of these scummy little cunts. Be ashamed you have failed at parenting. Your kids are acting like cunts because of lack of discipline.
The split in hunsnity between those who are choosing a path toward a brighter better future and those who are headed toward hell is becoming ever clearer.
The wheat is being sorted from the chaff. The sorting has already begun.
Everything was better.
Wow, this is what Yemen looked like in the 1960s under British rule. That was over half a century ago, but it looked decades more advanced than Yemen does today.
It’s almost unbelievable compared to what the country has become. And it’s a testament to how quickly a country can collapse once Islam reigns supreme.
Yes.
Good manners belong to everyone, gentlemen and ladies alike.
A few basics that never go out of style:
- Stand to greet someone
- Say please and thank you
- Put the phone away at the table
- Write a thank-you note
- Keep your word
@ArtofaLadyX what would you add for a lady?

“If God is for us, who can be against us?"

I said this last week. We need someone with the fortitude and wisdom to take on the entire establishment and win.
We have virtually no one in politics or political commentary who is capable of this.
Replying to @DouglasCarswell
Above all, no fiscal plan survives contact with Whitehall unless you take control of the machine first. Close departments, curb the quangos, rein in judicial activism.
Take a sledgehammer to the Whitehall machine - or be just another failed administration ....

This has been my view for a long time. We must at least have naval parity for our nation to survive. The Empire was born out of the need for food and trade security. The wars of the 20th century lulled us into a false sense that continental wars were key. We built the Empire precisely because we avoided large scale continental wars and conducted almost all affairs at sea. The sea is still the primary mode of moving trade. It is still the prime factor in determining military success. Air superiority relies heavily on air craft carriers and destroyers in support.
The seas belong to Great Britain. It is time we took them back.
🇬🇧 Britain needs a new maritime-first defence strategy.
@joshuachuminski and @TraytonBaker explain why Britain needs to dominate the waters around our islands.

Worth a read.
My new article is out.
Christina Applegate spent five years living under an MS diagnosis and speaking openly about it, only for her doctor to walk in and say “Congratulations, you don’t have MS.” She’s still disabled. She still needs a wheelchair to get from the parking lot to the doctor’s office. The same progressive symptoms that cost her her career are still there, and now she has no name or community for what’s wrong. The disease didn’t get the memo.
Then the mean-girl commentary arrived. Megyn Kelly framed Applegate’s distress as disappointment over losing her status as the public face of the disease and the platform that came with it. Janice Dean, who has lived with actual MS for more than 20 years and left her long career at Fox News because of it, called the remarks disgusting. She noted that she’s one of those people who talk about their diagnosis precisely to help others. As am I.
As someone who has lived with MS for 16 years after years of being told my symptoms were psychological, I agree.
Losing the label while remaining sick is its own special hell. The people policing the “correct” emotional reaction rarely live inside the body in question.
Christina is still sick. She's still disabled.
She still lost her career.
She just no longer has any answers for it.
For the full article, see below.
@JaniceDean this one is for you and all of us who struggle with this terrible disease.

Alfred the Great died on this day 1,127 years ago.
He is most famous for defending Wessex (and ultimately Anglo-Saxon England) against the Viking invaders and for laying the foundations of a more unified English kingdom.
This is Winchester Cathedral.
It rises from the ground where more than eleven centuries ago, Alfred the Great was first laid to rest.
In the late ninth century the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms came as close as they ever had to extinction. The great Viking armies had broken the old powers, monasteries lay in ruins, learning had almost ceased, and his people (the Angelcynn) seemed on the point of vanishing.
But Alfred didn’t merely hold the line with force of arms.
He understood that a people isn’t held by swords alone.
He set about the important work of recovery: the restoration of learning, the translation of essential books into the tongue of his people, the founding of schools, and the beginning of a chronicle written in the language of the people themselves.
He saw, with unusual clarity, that a people who lose their memory, their language, their inherited wisdom cease to exist long before they are finally conquered.
This cathedral stands upon the same ground, a continuous thread between his age and ours.
The problem Alfred faced then, faces us again today.
Civilisations don’t only fall to invasion.
They fall when they no longer care to remember what they are.
What he preserved then, we may still lose.
And what we lose, a later age may never recover.
