Early detection saves lives. Here’s an update on my successful surgery for early-stage breast cancer and why I’ll keep fighting for a country where no one has to wonder whether they can afford life-saving healthcare.

I sued ICE on the City Council. When I get to Congress, I will keep fighting to protect our community from ICE’s chaos and lawlessness.

We have 2 days to win this election. 

When I go door to door, folks tell me what they are worried about: ICE raids in our neighborhoods, sky-high prices at the pump and how the Trump family is getting richer at their expense. 

When I get to Congress, I will always put CA-48 families first.

This is our last weekend to get out the vote, CA-48! Thank you to our union workers, labor leaders and elected officials for joining us in Temecula to talk to our neighbors about what is at stake in this election. Let’s finish strong. Vote by Tuesday, November 3!

Our local small businesses are feeling the effects of Trump’s tariffs and costly war with Iran. 

From gas to milk to eggs, everything is more expensive and it’s hurting our local economy.

I was horrified to learn that a man detained in Escondido had died inside Otay Mesa Detention Center over the weekend. Enough is enough. Immigrants deserve dignity and respect. Our families deserve transparency. And our communities demand accountability and adherence to the rule of Law. I sued ICE on the City Council. In Congress, I'll work to stop ICE’s chaos in our neighborhoods.

Young voters have been at the heart of this campaign. Your vote is your power. It decides who shows up for you in Washington: on jobs, on healthcare, on whether this country protects what matters to you. We can't do this without you.

I’m out knocking doors in Escondido and talking to voters about what’s top of mind: the cost of living, ICE raids in our community and corruption in DC.
