$OPEN > Amazon of real estate is not far fetched!
Replying to @nejatian
@nejatian said it now on the EC, and I mentioned it before in my Singularity Scaler thesis: AI can kill a business if you don't own the data. Every software layer could be recreated, but you cannot recreate the data.
Opendoor has trillions of data points you cannot copy.
The fundamental value of this data layer is so miss understood today.
Faster sales > more data > better product > faster sales.
$OPEN is building the irreplaceable.

I’ve heard folks say the 10-year and by extension mortgage rates haven’t come down as much as expected given the recent stock market carnage.
But zoom out a month and yields are down ~50 bps and the 30-year fixed is closer to a 6-handle vs. an 8-handle.

Well said.
To the $OPEN shareholders or ex-shareholders whining all over X today:
You bought a distressed company attempting a massive turnaround in a distressed housing market. What exactly did you expect this to look like?
If your response to a $1.50 share price is “it’s Kaz’s fault” or “it’s the board’s fault,” without any discussion of the business, its valuation, or the turnaround itself, I question whether you understood what you bought.
Management deserves scrutiny. But a falling stock price, by itself, isn’t an analysis.
This is going to be messy. They might figure it out. They might not. Failure is a real possibility, and conviction doesn’t make that risk disappear.
I’m long $OPEN because I believe the potential upside justifies the risk. It’s an asymmetric bet I’m willing to take, and I intend to remain long as long as that thesis holds.
If you need a smooth ride and constant reassurance, go buy the S&P 500.
You don’t have to own Opendoor. But if you do, understand what you own and size the position so you can handle being wrong.

Passage of Florida’s Amendment 3 (Property Tax Relief) is a clear tailwind for Opendoor ($OPEN) 👇
1️⃣ Increased Market Liquidity
Lower homeownership costs will spur buying/selling activity. More transaction volume is great for their core model.
2️⃣ Lower Holding Costs
The cap on annual tax assessment increases for non-homestead properties (their inventory) drops from 10% to 5%, mitigating cost spikes while holding homes.
3️⃣ Unlocking Move-Up Buyers
Easing tax friction encourages homeowners to finally sell and upgrade.
Higher turnover in a key market like Florida is a direct win for $OPEN
🚨 BREAKING: Florida has PASSED Amendment 3 to slash and eventually abolish PROPERTY TAXES for homeowners' primary residence — with roughly 62% of the vote
This was RON DESANTIS' MAIN PUSH.
THIS IS HISTORY!! ☀️
Florida is about to RAISE the exemption and work towards ultimate abolishment, now written into the State Constitution!
BIG affordability move.

Hope you listened.
TACO is coming - deals are imminent.
1. A trade deal with Canada.
2. A deal with Iran.
Prediction: Stock market rally - TACO is coming. 🌮
Over the next couple of weeks, in the run-up to the US midterm elections, I expect Trump to announce two major developments:
1. A trade deal with Canada.
2. A deal with Iran.
Maximum threats and pressure now, followed by deals and de-escalation right before the midterms.
TACO is coming!

When people ask me: Why bitcoin:native
This is why I buy Bitcoin. Nobody can print more of it. 21M then. 21M now. 21M forever. Every working person should read this twice. Your savings are melting. This is why I stack.
Stay humble & Stack Sats
When Satoshi published the white paper:
World money supply - $40 trillion.
World debt - $170 trillion.
Bitcoin's supply - 21 million.
18 years later TODAY:
World money supply -$127 trillion.
World debt - $365 trillion.
Bitcoin's supply - 21 million.
They tripled the money.
They doubled the debt.
Satoshi didn't change a thing
because Bitcoin is MONEY.
$OPEN 13 Months in under Kaz Nejatian
People called it a turnaround. Kaz called it a build. When he first came to Opendoor, he didn’t walk in with some magic fix. He started putting pieces together — Doma on the transaction side, Real Scout for the data and engagement layer, and now the 1P, 2P, 3P framework that ties the whole model together. That’s not a pivot. That’s a guy assembling something that takes time to show. And now OpenOwn and the Ownify partnership put a face on all of it. We’re 13 months into that 24-month turnaround. The foundation’s laid. The proof points are still coming. If you’ve been holding through the drawdowns, you already know — patience isn’t sitting around. It’s the position.
